1. Register an account here.
2. Start your entry (save it in-progress).
3. Submit and pay for your entry to be in the running.

To qualify, submissions must include work produced between 1 September 2025 and 31 August 2026.

Awards timeline:

➤ Entries open: 2nd April 2026
➤ Entry deadline: 18th June 2026, 23:59 BST
➤ Finalists announced: 27th October 2026
➤ Awards Ceremony: 10th December 2026

Entry fees:

➤ Entry: £100 + VAT
➤ Local Media: £55 + VAT
➤ Specialist/Freelance journalists: £55 + VAT

The Future of Media Awards is committed to promoting diversity amongst our entrants and finalists. The entry fee will be waived if you can confirm that you cannot afford the entry fee and do not have an employer willing to underwrite the cost of your entry. This scheme is aimed at promoting more equal representation of women, people from minority ethnic backgrounds and other under-represented groups.
