About the Awards

Press Gazette’s Future of Media Awards returns to celebrate and recognise excellence across digital news media in the UK and worldwide.

We are looking for work which brings quality journalism to a digital audience. The judges want to celebrate great product teams, effective digital strategies, innovative editors and effective online storytelling.

At their heart, these awards are about recognising the best in online journalism and technical and commercial innovation, providing a platform for great editorial work.

The Future of Media Awards are now in their third year, building on the success of the Press Gazette’s British Journalism Awards, which has been running for over ten years as the leading award for solely UK news publishers featuring 1,000+ entries and 600+ attendees.

The winners will be announced at the awards ceremony on Thursday 12th September 2024, at Hilton London Bankside.
